Soundboard, as in some Prince concert of soundboard quality which circulates amongst as vast network of international collectors.

Such as Osaka, Febuary 12th 1989, right off the soundboard.

2 live 4 love is my fave. it's the diamonds and pearls show from rotterdam. u can understand and hear everything crystal clear and that madd version of kiss is off the charts.

he also performed damn u and my name is prince from the then forthcoming symbol album, and u could listen to that double cd non stop. i played it until it skipped like milli vanilli's lyric tape back in the day..lol...

o i need another copy...hint hint...

2 Live 4 Love isn't a soundboard recoring - but it's a damn good audience recording...one of the best.

Josh mate the Melbourne show is great - especially the guitar duel on 'My Name is Prince' with Levi - a very funky moment!!!

Has there ever been a better version, seriously? I've played that version over and over, it's so great.

My favourite soundboard is Small Club. Hate to be predictible but the quality is mindblowing not to mention the performance.

Small Club has to be one of the oldest Prince boots and it is still the greatest one - soundbaord or otherwise. It sounds like a real live album and would have been an excellent It Aint Over type of disc if there was such a thing as a official live box set back in the late 80s

Small Club (boring!!!) But there's also a boot called Sacrifice which has a recording of Prince at BBC broadcasting house in London which was broadcast live on the radio. It's amazing U really sense the atmosphere. It sounds like an encore really intense and then builds 2 an amazing performance of Peach. My favorite so there!!

Hell, Small Club just for Just My Imagination alone. People Without is so unique because Prince never plays synth in concert--or that long of a solo. And would never actually "experiment" on stage. That proved what a brilliant motherfucker he could be. Too bad he squandered that.
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!
