Does anyone else besides me remember back in 2000/2001, when Prince was about to go on tour (I think this was for the "A Celebration" tour) there was an email sent out for club members promoting the shows, and some of the things mentioned were that: 1) there would be remotes of some sort on certain seats where you could vote on what the next song played in the show would be, and 2) that there would be holograms of Prince on all the instruments and he would sing and play along with his clones all live onstage, and in the email it said "we always knew that brotha would clone himself one day!" or something to that effect. I remember this, but I've mentioned this to fans over the years and none of them ever know what I'm talking about Of course neither of those things happened and even when reading the email I recall thinking that this stuff would never happen, but it was just another way to sell tickets.

Who else remembers this?

Yeah, there was definitely something about that. I remember the voting thing clearly. May have been a post on the website rather than an email though. Around 2000/2001.

I think that Holograms of Prince on all instruments would have been cool to see.

Ok, I must've remembered it wrong but I'm glad to see that other people do recall seeing this on the website, there were folks who swore I was making it all up
