Irresistible Bitch: at the beginning, you hear him in his normal voice saying “turn it down a little” bit I only recently noticed that right before that you can hear him in his Jamie Starr voice saying “turn it UP a little” lmao

I always thought the "turn it up" sounded like his natural voice Minnosota accent. It's in the "urn" part of turn. (which you can clearly hear sometimes in rehearsal bootlegs, I was once listening with a musician friend of mine to. bootleg, and he thought it was hilarious that Prince's voice sounded like that in a moment of onstage direction "Wait... was that Prince's voice??? LOL").

He also seems to summon the accent to be funny in his white voice he used in the first few lines of "Dead On It"

Pheromone is a good one. I believe the faint vocal track in the background at the beginning is saying "Pheromone make a n#### crazy make a n#### crazy make a n#### wanna die."

Yep, it's sampled and looped throughout the track.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

hmm, i'm not sure...I just listened again and the "turn it DOWN a little" sounds more like his normal accent to me. But you could be right, the "turn it UP a little" part that precedes it may not be quite the Jamie Starr voice, but it doesnt sound like his natural voice IMO. Either way its funny, its like he's conflicting with himself lol

My favorite is from the outro to Starfish and Coffee. Heard it for the first time listening through really great headphones years ago. Relaxing with eyes closed listening to the song and when I heard it for the first time, I bolted straight up and hit rewind about a hundred times.

Before songs ends he says “starfish in your coffee, you will love it, told you so” or something close to that.

I never never liked this song at all because this one was written in the 90's.....maybe with an 80's feel & production this one would have been very different to my ears & taste !

It's such a dirty little slammin' track - In a way it's almost like an updated version of his relentless beat tracks little Dance Electric, All Day All Night, or even It. I thought the same about it until I released it had snuck up on me and hit me with its filthy, nasty electro-funk!

I don't necessarily buy the ABCD thing. If we're talking about the little break after the 2nd chorus before the guitar solo kicks in, it's not "clear as day," either. I hear a lot of "when doves cry" lines building up to the solo, but nothing remotely near "ABCD."

Like i said, if your hearings gone your not gonna be able to hear it

Maybe this will help a little

Us on the DTT heard, "Pheromone make a nigga go crazy, fuckin' around make a nigga wanna die."

But you also heard, "A sophisticated man reduced 2 company", on In a Large Room With No Light, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Obviously you get the odd thing wrong but on the whole did a great job. Why did the site stop?

RIP sad
