I heard it. It's fascinating. He launched off with a scorching version of Bambi. All sung in his non-falsetto head voice.
I can't find it, though!!!!

- There are boots in bad quality to be found of one of the opening shows if you search for them. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Yes. The October 11, 1981 show is widely circulating. I'm currently listening to it. Duration: 18:19. Sound: pretty bad, quite distant. .

- Just listened to the Lisa Coleman Podcast (musicLAB), there's a 25+ minutes rebuild conversation between the bandmembers and some collage background noises about this famous opening night for The Rolling Stones. - At 10:40 i hear something like a Prince song i never heard ? (or is this Dez?) - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lisa-colemans-musiclab-podcast/id1497358816 - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. He was playing the LA Colesium (capacity over 90K at the time) full of rowdy drunken Stones fans. Chances are a falsetto would not have carried well enough to sound good or evne be heard at all.
