He found the answer 😊

It's snowing right now in my hometown in southwestern Ontario and we will get a little more throughout the night and into the morning. Ironically, it snowed here last year, on April 21st as well.

He's been gone 5 years. Thinking about him now and I realized something.

Prince has found the answer to all of the April snow!

That warmed my heart a little and I hope it warms yours too.

It's snowing today in my hometown of Erie PA as well. I wrote this on my Facebook page today:

"Tracy died soon after a long fought civil war

Just after I wiped away his last tear

I guess he's better off than he was before

A whole lot better off than the fools he left here"

How ironic that it is snowing today on the 5th anniversary of the passing of Prince. I popped in the "Parade" CD this morning on my way to work. I probably would have anyways. I always listen to "Sometimes it snows in April" on this date, however, the snow falling gave it a beautiful back drop. 5 years already. In this 5 years the Prince Estate has released a lot of material never heard before. As much as I love a lot of that stuff I'd give it all back to have him still here making new music.

"I often dream of heaven now I know that Tracy's there

I know that he has found another friend

Maybe he's found the answer to all the April snow

Maybe one day I'll see my Tracy again"

It's still a little weird to me that I can miss someone so much that I never met and, quite frankly, probably wouldn't have liked much! Prince is was and always will be the soundtrack to my life.

Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.
