I think the issue is 2 fold:

1. He was good at so many different things

2. People like so many different things.

So the puzzle pieces just don't always match. Some people like the funk and R&B, some like the ballads, some the rock, some the experimental stuff. Some like the hits, but that's just scratching the surface of his catalog. Some people just HATE rap, period, so that strikes a good portion of his music that anyone would want. Some don't like the dance songs

His versatitlty and how prolific he was was a blessing and a curse.

I'm as big a fan as anyone I know but but if I made a Best of Box Set or some sort of vault mix that I thought absolutley CRUSHED, I promise you hat half of this board would hate it.

He just did so much and we all want something different from what he created. Our tastes are all over the place. I honestly think the estate has done pretty well tbh.

I could use some more live stuff, especially aftershows, but it's hard for me to really criticize what they've done so far with an almost impossible job. Obviously, money comes into play in their decisions but I think once D&PSDE is over with and they're done milking the big sellers we'll get more deep cut type of shit since the dedicated fan base will be the main people buying things.

Only on here. Out in the wider world the man can'tt be anymore loved. Globally, from legendary peers, politicians, anyone & everyone across the music sector, actors , anyone connected to the arts..our man is LOVED & RESPECTED.

What's particularly gratifying is the countless new artists that have a clear & obvious influence,

H.E.R. Music being the most recent example of many.

The Org as a community has calmed down BUT there's some that will forever be stuck with the same sick menatlity regardelss of his death.
