Prince Bootleg – Love And Sex (2017) Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone here could give me some information. I came across this bootleg set yesterday which shares a lot in common with Eye’s ‘Blast From The Past 4.0’, with many similar tracks. https://www.discogs.com/P...e/10679029 I compared the sound quality of from a selection of tracks and there isn’t a lot in it (the spec data was really similar for both too). However, there were a few tracks which sounded a tiny bit different to my ear. It may just be that there is a small difference in volume or maybe a tad more compression, but I also think there might be some differences with the EQ curve. I think some of the Love and Sex tracks tend to have a touch more treble, whereas their Blast counterparts have a little more bass. It’s subtle and hard to tell for sure. I was just wondering if anyone here can remember which set was released first, as one was probably the source for the other? They both came out in 2017. I’m just trying to work out the lineage of these tracks. Thanks in advance. Have a lovely weekend.

The majority of these songs were leaked prior to the Blast set coming out, so that's likely thy this lot sound slightly different. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain. |

Thanks for the info Blue. This makes sense. I guess they were both tweaked independently then. I'm really glad I stumbled upon it. It's a neat set to have.
