I ordered SOTT LP & CD in June 2020. Including shipping a price of more than 500USD. They tried to deliver my items in october. Unfortunately i was out of the country for 2.5 weeks. During that time i organised all my postal matters professionally. Unfortunately it's not possible to do any prophylactic steps when they use FEDEX. So my items were sent back. That was october 2020. Since then i reached them several times per mail and i get always the same answer: we did note get the items back till now. After such a long time since preorder I'm not able to start a inquiry for a refund at paypal anymore.

So. i payed 500$ and did not get any of my stuff. The answer since month is always the same. I'm well aware that the covid situation is complicated. But since the sitation is complicated they have to prepare themselves for any issues and try solving problems situational.

I'm tired and fed up. And this is definetly the absolute last time i ordered at that place. The customer service is just really really bad. It already took way more time then expected to get my 1999 deluxe.

It really looks like I lost my money. Beware when you order at that place. Not good.

Wow, $500 is no joke. That's horrible. They should refund you.

I do know with Fedex in the U.S. you can go online and change an item to be delivered to a Fedex station.

Sorry to hear that. I personally never order anything from the Prince store. I have other [cheaper] sources. The FedEx here always throws boxes on my porch and then leaves. But I also do wonder why people order stuff and then leave for vacation, work or whatnot? It's like putting stuff on eBay and then leave for vacation. I'm like: WTH? I always avoid those sellers.

All my orders last year took 2 months to get from the date items where to be in stock. So with pre-order it was 2 months and 2 weeks to get the products. I had to contact them 3 times before they finally gave me an email with an actual update. And there excuse is the pandemic. The truth is the people in charge of the site are incompetent. I deal with other on line sites and they have no problems or excuses. If you have a supplier not able to supply you promptly-you change suppliers.

I bought my SOTT super Deluxe through Amazon because of the site's lack of customer care.

Yelp reviews and contacting the states better business bureau are ways of expressing your point of view.

I feel that Amazon is the #1 place to shop for this kind of thing when it comes to Prince stuff. You need that kind of professional storefront with customer service in case anything goes wrong (which it probably will) or to avoid the stuff being painfully delayed (which it will probably be).

I got the 1999: SDE from Amazon, and it came with the corner slightly dented. Nobody's fault, but a quick email to Amazon and a new one was on the way BEFORE the one I had was shipped back. And, this was when there seemed to be a shortage of them for some reason. The replacement was also at the discounted price of when I bought it, not at the ballooned price it had reached.

I don't think the Prince Store would be so accomodating.

if i read it right, they just recieved that package back to them now? i work in international shipping, in the best of times thats not uncommon with a returned package to take that long going back through customs, and especially with the current situation of carriers and customs being overwhelemd with packages now. the estate have zero control over that.

If they won't refund you, call your credit card company.

Thanks for your answers. No, they say, that they did not recieve the package till now (because covid is causing delay). But there is absolutely no communication by them. Everytime i contact them the response is: we did not get the package till now. we will contact you whenever we will receive it.

It was sent back around october 20 in 2020! Really total frustrating...

I will contact VISA next week. Unfortunately PayPal can do nothing anymore - I ordered nearly 1 year ago. Never again.

Can't go wrong with Amazon.

I was pissed because they didn't offer a automatic MP3 on Amazon Music for these releases but I will never order from the Prince store again.
