Tom Waits..?

I think it's Jackson Browne...there were allegations re: his issues w/several women...

I can't find any JB albulms that she is credited on - have you?

She's credited on a couple for Tome Waits. Waits also plays piano and it looks like Browne's instrument of choice is guitar.

I'd prefer it to be Jackson Browne because I actually like Tom Waits but Waits isn't exactly classy either, so I'm leaning towards it being him.

I only know that Sunset Sound was one of the studios Jackson B used and there were allegations of

questionable behavior with women,ie., his first wife, Joni Mitchell and Daryll Hannah. It's a gut instinct, I really don't know for certain.

I just don't know enough about Tom Waits.

A bit off-topic but I was listening to this YT vid:

"The Complete History of Legendary Sunset Sound Recorders in Hollywood, CA" and the owner talks about Prince and Elton John chatting on the basketball court in the early 80's. Others included Cher, Joni Mitchell, Barbra Streisand, the 'Toto guys'.

He also said Prince played basketball everyday (in the pumps) though he would wait until it was vacant.

  • He also fell in love w/one of the older, upright studio pianos (Tack) which had been played
  • by the Doors. He asked to buy it to give to his Dad; the studio agreed to give it to him.
  • He rented the Linn machine over 50 times.
