FIRST KICK! What was the moment you got really hooked on Prince? le moment suprême where you knew this was different and got a craving for more.
I was twelve and my brother had amateurly copied the purple rain album from the library on tape, I made a very silly cover with pictures found in a pop magazine; then he put it on, livingroom sundaymorning and let's go crazy pounding through the house. That was it! I do not have ALL the bootlegs, singles in all versions ranging from uk to japanese, etc; but prince is still like a constant pressence ever since. and I wanna hear your stories  The HQ-er formerly known as krokostimpy. | |

I played "Annie Christian" backwards on vynl just for fun one day. It had Prince saying some incantations and than he said "You belong to me 4 ever" in that deep voice of his and Ive been hooked every since!  | |

Ah, Annie Christian, my parents used to play that for me all the time when I was 4 years old. Whenever I'd been naughty, they'd sit me in a cupboard, throw in a jar full of spiders, close the door and play "Annie Christian" on top volume. I had such a lovely childhood. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

I wish U heaven - video was great!!! I never was crazy about his video's but "I wish U heaven" fits the song and album as no other!!
Glam Slam was cool too... silly ones: sexy mf, my name is prince. And let's just face it: the "diamonds and Pearls"and "O(->" hairdo was the biggest mistake in years, shouting "I wan't something new, and we already tried all the rest"!!! The HQ-er formerly known as krokostimpy. | |
