Mayte said he had a will...and of course it had to be amended after the divorce, but why wouldnt he have done that?...he had their house razed to the ground, so its not like he wasnt getting his personal business and affairs rearranged after he kicked her to the curb...so he just up and FORGOT to amend his will?...

stop it

lol

"Mayte said." Yeah, she's a shining beacon of truth, that one.

He didn't raze the house until he was getting divorced from M2. Nice try, though.

Quit while you're behind.

i didnt disqualify myself from anything...i could care less about your faux elitist opinion of my opinion....you are not in any way qualified to be judge or jury over Prince's post mortem affairs ...nor are you any kind of authority on racial inequities... with that said, i will continue to speak on racial issues as it releates to Prince or anyone else i feel like... you have no authority to "disqualify' me from ANYTHING...LMAO @ your edict wich says im "disqualified"....i know it KILLS some of you emotionally and spiritually to see/hear a black man speak against the status quo...and i LOVE it...so keep going...and keep supporting and justifying the thefts and sales of a Black Artist's intellectual property ... ill move on when im ready...im not your child or your ladyfriends...so save the orders for someone who MIGHT follow them...or go cry to the moderators like some others do.

Dude, seriously...

seriously what?.... youve still said absolutely nothing of substance or legitimacy....and if you feel the same about my comments, thats cool with me...im not here to appease you or anyone else... "seriously"... dude.

And you wonder why no one takes you seriously...

.

Seriously, what's next? Name calling? Wanna tell me about that time you did my mom? It sure is easier than coming up with solid arguments and articulate reasoning, I'll give you that.

.

I don't know what you had for breakfast, because I don't remember you ever behaving like a mad man before, but you're making a hell of a fool of yourself today, and it's kind of getting worse with every post... Now it's your problem, not ours, so have it your way if you're having fun, no hard feelings...

you are so sensitive and anal retentive...as usual...it was obviously a light hearted comment made to LoveGalore...but you're so pressed and bothered by my comments that you took genuine offense...and Baby you should see the orgnotes and positive feedback from those who DO take me seriously, and thats all that matters to me...again, im well aware im in the minority here and my views and opinions can be polarizing and even upsetting to some people, especially those OUTSIDE OF MY CULTURE...and i accept and even welcome that... so if im a "Mad Man" or a "Fool" because i dont share your opinions, that says way more about YOUR foolishness, than any juvenile level joke i may have shared with LoveGalore...and if that lil silly doodoo joke hurt your e-feelings, take a Tylenol, "Dude"...

if Prince decided not to release this project due to the death of his child, i feel it would be sick and morbid for his privacy to be violated, and sold off by the recording industry vultures and their evil minions

I totally agree its unseemly for release, but do see the other posters point on emancipation. I feel that emancipation although strongly themed around the topic of his darling son and wife, also broadens out at times. A project for or focused on what ended up as the absolute tragedy that befell he and his family, that was clearly shelved due to unimaginable pain, I wouldn't feel comfortable for anyone, especially me,to hear. However! Maybe I am a hypocrite as other, impersonal stuff p chose not to release - I'm there

Databank and RJOrion - you are both posters I have always enjoyed reading from over the years. Hope this fight doesnt continue if you wound up getting too heated and banned it would be such a shame. X

and for the record, contrary to Databank's aforementioned accusation (belief) that i had sex with his mother, its entirely untrue (i think)... and despite how it may appear in print, i am not his Daddy...

Well.... sure, it would be morbid, in a manner of speaking, to release this project. But.. keep in mind that it would be historically interesting for one and for another, I don't think there's anything worse than what he did himself after the baby died. He had an interview with Oprah, saying "our family exists" and forcing Mayte to sit there and smile. And to top it off... *after that* he had Mayte film hospital scenes of going there to deliver.

.

No matter what is being done with the music that's still there, there is no problem with making a different decision now about what to release and how than what Prince did back in the day. Not only would he have changed his mind a few times already and, in the end, he understood that show business is a business and what he created was, in addition to being art I am interested in, a product to be sold.

I'm complelely ok w/impassioned opinions, but it can be risky here.

releasing the "happy tears" project with that name and advertised as such may be one of the few things i can see being too sensitive or in poor taste, BUT any tracks finished for said release absolutely need to be released in some way, as does everything else.

Perhaps it is too early for us, but it is my hope that one day a biographer w/gravitas will explore all that was Prince, including this release and it's relevance.
