Not one decent Prince workout playlist on iTunes...damn shame! Help...please!

I’ll get us started, Eggplant. Yeah I said it! Try not to run faster, pedal harder when that breakdown kicks in after the 2nd verse.

Top that!?

Oh yeah, and it’s “trade SEATS with you if her KEY light is bad..get it right iTunes lyric scribe!!!

Well ... Work That Fat, of course.

Also, the early version of Tick Tick Bang.

When I was a teenager, in the mid-80s, I used to do a workout on the 12” version of America. Got a lot of energy from that!

Hahaha!
Nowadays, I prefer the fourth track from Rave album, aka the 4-seconds-of-silence segue...

The simplest way is to play the Feline rehearsal from 1984 or 1985. It's about 40 minutes long, it's fast paced, funny, great guitar solo. It was my go to track for working out for many years (I haven't worked out in ages lol). The tape starts with Old Friends 4 Sale which runs about 4 minutes long, and I find that great for warming up. And then the funk hits you hard and just can't stop for the remainder of the 40 or so minutes. Try it!

Wow, I could go all day on this one. I once finished a half marathon listening to Purple Rain. Anyone running a long race -- that's a great track to cross the finish line!

Other songs that always sound great on a run: Housequake, Sexy Dancer, Why U Wanna Treat Me So Bad, Head, Dirty Mind, DMSR, Endorphinmachine, Pheremone, Electric Chair, Partyman, Let's Go Crazy (Extended Version), Automatic, 1999, Hot Thing, U Got the Look, and there are a million others.

I'll add that the way I first became intimately familiar with his gateway albums was through running to them. I've listened to the complete Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain, and SOTT albums on longer runs dozens, maybe hundreds of times.

His music might be the best to workout to of all time, in addition to being the best popular music of all time!
