Just ordered The Hits Collection DVD I found the Hits dvd for sale in brand new condition on ebay. Cannot wait for it to arrive.I use to have this on VHS back in the middle 90's. I played it so much I wore it out. | |

Quite frankly, one of many disappointing releases. It kinda made sense to be an hour long when it was a VHS tape, but a DVD can easily contain twice as much at a proper bitrate. .

As someone said it months ago ( databank?), there was to be 2 VHS at the time. But probably they didn't have rights for Purple Rain and Batman movies, so they scrapped this project, and came with a greatest hits without Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Let s Go Crazy and and Batdance, four #1s out of five in his career. |

A part 2 would have been great.I remember going to the same video store I got the hits VHS from to see if their was a part 2 out yet.This was before I internet access so i had no way on finding out anything about upcoming releases.But i did manage to find the diamonds and Pearl's video along with 3 chains of gold. | |
