Vaccination
These are some of the lyrics to "New World." I just think it's strange that he would say the thing about vaccines... Does anyone know if he has spoken on this topic more? Was he an "anti-vaxer"? Or am I just missing something? | |

This was in his burgeoning paranoia/beware of the man/radical man phase. Plus it was cool to be paranoid in the late 90s with y2k paranoia etc.
He might have been an anti vaxxer, not sure. He didnt want mayte getting much medicine when she had birth complications IIRC so not unthinkable. [Edited 12/28/20 22:10pm] |

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the vaccine or whatever...But truth be told, he was telling the truth. I mean, come on, think about it. Y'all know good and well everything you do on that smartphone you're on right now (and so am I) is tracking and keeping tabs on everything we do. Algorithms, right? Haha. My new smartphone actually asked me to give my fingerprint to keep records on me for some shit. I was like, "Fk You!". LMAO. So, you know...It is what it is. Can't be paranoid about it though. Never be afraid. Can't enslave anybody with a truly free mind. Know that for a fact. If they try that, they'll see some riots for real. Ain't seen nothing yet! Trust + believe... I know alot of folks want to believe that everything in music is just for entertainment...and I guess that's why some people would rather binge watch Netflix than listen to an actual album, maybe because it seems like nobody really gives a damn about the quality of music anymore. Ha. When that song was written, the internet wasn't nearly what it is now and most people didn't have a mobile (let alone) smart phone. The more pertinent question to ask here is, would P have taken his Covid vaccine shot? The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
