you guys obviously love getting exploited to buy new releases with marginally different sound quality. remasters, as i think bernie grundman said, are really barely an improvement, theyre often just tinkering to suit modern tastes, as well as offer a slightly different version so fans think they are listening to a new version of the music, and purchase it again. look forward to the even more improved and remastered version of purple rain any year now!

It was always better as a bootleg than official release The 94release made it less exciting

This is my opinion as well. For me, the CD didn't really give me anything I hadn't had already. In fact, I found myself missing my boot's sound, only because I had been so used to hearing it that way.

But, I am all for a remastering of this album. It deserves to be heard in a much better, crisper quality.

Please, no, no, no. I don't want this to be the next remaaster and SDE. Let's move from the 80s and into the 90s or 21st century. I'm ready from something different. (Unless for some bizarre reason they package TBA with outtakes from 1994; that'd be interesting but kind of silly.)

I love this album. It was my first significant boot in college in 1989. Everything before then was on cassette. The Spanish translation on the disc is "it's black and long like his arm." lol
