I actually listen to country music. It seems people here are trying to pick songs that kinda sound country already. But any song can be country, just take the same lyrics and change the arrangement. Like there's a bluegrass remake of Rick James' Superfreak by Ricky Skaggs, Bruce Hornsby, & John Anderson. Songs with a lot of cussin' in them probably wouldn't get done, but a non-mainstream outlaw country singer might record it.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
