The best things to come from the NPG ahdio shows?

I see there are quite a bit of NPG audio shows.I have never taken the time to listen to all of them throughout but I can tell they are a combination of prince official songs, songs from his concerts, protege songs, and some are just voices talking like Tora Tora or a unknown female voice.
In your all opinions, what are the best songs or best anything to come from these shows?

The later shows are more like dj mixes without the nonsense skits/talking, which are far more preferable imo.

All the info you need here - https://www.princevault.c...PGMC_Ahdio

There were a couple of some Parade shows in them that were just so fucking great.

Also, the one after 9/11 was especially nice.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

The part I liked the best was that all the studio stuff felt "hot of the presses" and really new. Prince would drop a jam and everyone in the world would all be listening to it.

If I had to choose one thing I would say the live shows, particularly the Parade and Gold era ones, they were incomplete, but they were really good.

'Jukebox with a Heartbeat' was a new song only released via NPG Ahdio. There was also a vault dance track that appeared to feature Madonna on vocals that had never been heard before and was not made available separately.

In addition to these, there were numerous unheard instrumentals and interludes. As mentioned above, one show featured a concert 'bootleg' with half a show from the Parade tour and material from Act 1 in 93.

But to truly assimilate it all, you'll have to get your feet wet and listen to them from beginning to end. But those are some highlights.

I don't think there's such a thing. Maybe the Carmen Electra remix in the first show?

Yeah, I reposted it on my blog after the Charlie attacks in France (or maybe the Bataclan attacks, one of the 2) 5 years ago.

#6; It's "You can touch me" by Autobox, not Madonna... although Discogs says "Research online does not confirm the existence of either Autobox or the song "You Can Touch Me", a production that probably has never been issued."

Oh, that! God I had completely forgotten. The singer sounds like Madonna it's true, but it appears to be some girl named Baby. It's indeed "Autobox featuring Baby" (https://www.discogs.com/de/Autobox-Feat-Baby-You-Can-Touch-Me/release/6569541), and whomever Baby is, she also narrates the Ahdio show. She says the title of the song at the end but doesn't mention the artist so I have no clue how Princevault figured out what the name of the band was.

That's the title! Definitely sounded a lot like Madge! I always thought it was some kind of collaborative outtake from the late 80s, early 90s.

For me, the best AHDIO was the last 5 minutes of the first show.

Hair standing, eye popping, breath taking, tear jerking wall of guitar.

Just fantastic biggrin
