Interactive CDrom install problem

I am trying to install te Interactive CD rom. I run the install and restart as instructed but it keeps telling me the quicktime for windows is not installed when I know that it is. Anyone suggestions?

what operating system are you using... I've read reports that it doesn't work in os's that are newer than windows 98.

Yeah Interactive is getting pretty old now... I'd be surprised to see it working with any more recent OS such as Win 2K or XP.

I suppose it is possible that Interactive depends on a specific (old) version of Quicktime... so maybe you could downgrade. That'd be a pain in the arse tho.

I reckon Prince could get his web-monkeys to just convert all of the CD-ROM to a web-based flash thingummy and put it up for free on the NPGMC site. It's all just point and click stuff, nothing too taxing, and I presume Prince could get access to all the content easily enough.

When I used it on my old Macintosh there was an aplication (.exe) icon so as long as you have quicktime installed you can play it off the disc. There was never anyslow down of anything. Can't you do that on a PC?
