Has Rhonda played her last bassline as a NPG band member?

We all know how Prince likes to chop and change his band members every few years to keep it fresh. Well the longest serving permanant band member at the moment is Rhonda. She must have been there for what, 5 or 6 years now? This is a typical life span of a NPG band member, so do you guys think that Prince will be searching for a replacement Bass Player anytime soon? Is this a good thing? Where do you suppose he will find one? Do you think that if he does she'll still be female as he like to have a mix of male/female band members whenever possible? Am I asking too many questions?

org disclaimer- This is posted in the Prince Music and More because the topic isn't just about a related artist, rather Prince's methods of changing band members.

Jamademus

Wasn't Rhonda kinda usurped by Larry Graham 4 a bit? I hope he hangs onto her though she's a great player especially on that Vektra thing.

She was in the band, then replaced by Larry, then came back into the band again.
I think that has only happened once before & that was with Kirky J. Though in my opinion, one time was enough for Kirky J.
I've always liked the male/female, white/black mix of the band & I'm sure we'll love the next bass player as well.

Kirky J. doesn't play bass does he?

Essence

Rhonda left so Prince was there "She's technically superb but she didn't have that funky feel on the jams" or something similar. Then he brought her back into the mix, I wonder how she felt about the parting comments...
