Don't you mean "how influential was Prince on Lenny Kravitz?'

Margot

I watched an interview of Lenny (forgot who interviewed).

Lenny is actually a talented interior designer with his own company.

He was quite articulate as well.

Some of his projects were quite impressive.

His Paris home was actually a hotel and is very beautiful.

I think some of you guys dismiss Lenny because of his intention to look like a rock star ,but that guy did do some good music.his album "5 " is a good album.I think it was the first time Lenny started using drum machines and loops and synths on his own albums.During the bad days for rock in 1998 he had two big rock hits Fly Away and his rendation of Guess Who's American Woman .His song Are You Gonna Go My Way is a classic rock now ,an instant recognisable and memorable hook so Lenny aint that bad but he is not too original

5 is an amazing album, I used to play it in the car years ago but lost it

Also saw Lenny in person, was in the studio audience when he was recording an interview in Toronto, he was handsome and very humble

I have heard 5, i'll just say it is not for me. He won't be bothered by any catty comments we make on here but he might be a bit upset that he's not destined to be remembered as one of the greats. His mountains of money will surely provide some comfort.

I love Lenny Kravitz. I think he's a great perfomer in his own right. We just saw him last year in concert and it was amazing. He puts on a good show.

His lyrics are a bit trite and are way too rhyme-y, but I love his "love" message and his energy.

I don't think he'll influence other artists much, I think because he himself is too overly influenced by others.

Good-looking guy, a bit of a poser. Not on Prince's level. I thought they

had a thing for each other.

Knowing Prince, it was probably more of a "thing" for Lenny's ex-wife Lisa Bonet, and later his grown up daughter. lol

So I'm listening to a 2013 show with 3eg
And you know it reminds me of?
Leonard Kravitz.
Same retro 70s sludge rock
Same big dumb classic rock riffage
Quite fun but my brain is definitely not being activated
Kind of thing prince can do in his sleep
The npg trio were def better and they were no brainiac musicians
But still, it's very much in the lenny mould
