Now that I'm in my 30s, Prince in his 30s makes A LOT more sense to me.
I became a fan in my teens. I remember listening to Lovesexy and going...what?
Yet..at 35..I get it
Granted..I'll still pass on some of them outfits..but seriously, even down to a lot of his lyrics in his 30s. I'm sure this says more about the maturation of a fan, but I just felt it needed to be said. Fret not that you frighten or offend. Invite the world to dance and marvel at who joins.

Yeah for the longest time I didn’t care much about his 90s work and thought 70s, 80s and some 00s was listenable. But then I discovered the albums diamonds and pearls and gold experience and loved the title tracks and also am a big fan of the song my name is prince. Was in my late 20s though at that point, in my late 30s now [Edited 10/22/20 18:46pm]

Prince 1990- is extremely underrated. The problem is that it took the average consumer a lot of work to edit and find a lot of the brilliance. Most music fans have never heard The Exodus, The War, Come, his acoustic piano/guitar albums, etc.
