SOTT SDE- How/ Where are you storing/keeping your CDs?

I bought both editions but I haven't listened to the cds yet.

When I opened the book 2 cdd had come off their place.

So I'd like to know how are you managing to avoid damaging them.

Should I make a copy of each one and store them in a CD case/ cases?

It's not like I'm going to spend that amount of money in buying them again.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Some folks have put the disks into a paper slip case or whatever to quicker access. I haven't ripped my CDs yet. So far, I put the whole set back into the peace box it came in and put it on my record shelf right after all the 1987 SOTT stuff.

I have already ripped my CD's in flac quality to my laptop.Afterwards I put them back in the book and placed on my shelf where I will probably never use them again but it looks LOVELY next to my big "21 Nights" book

Mine is in a bookcase with the rest of my Prince photo books and the 1999 Deluxe. I have yet to rip the CDs nor have I removed them from the book.

Well, thanks for the comments.

I like listening to physical albums, so I could use the originals or burn copies.

In any case, I guess I'll put the cds in cases. I have a couple of those 4-cd's cases (like the one used for the Crystal Ball album).

I wish I found proper artwork to use.

So far I have been able to open and read the book and so far all the disks are all in pristine shape so they will probably just be chilling in the book while I have lossless rips of them on my computer and iPod to enjoy

I plan on making copies of the CDs on gold CD-Rs and storing them in a black multi disc pack that can be stored with my other discs.

Awful. Probably the worst person in the history of the world as far as CD maintenance goes.

And as I proofread what I wrote I discovered what the topic question is and now I will respond with I'm storing/keeping my CD's in my treasure trove in heaven where I know they are safe.

And for the record I'd like to bring up the topic of psychoacoustics because I am in a very noisy room and it completely changed my perception.

AND as a treat for you all because there's only one other response on this topic, I'd like to say hello to user "seand67" who's response made me think they must be keeping theirs in their vehicle, good choice.
