Idk if it’s been mentioned, but since we know this was recorded right after Bob George, maybe this song is a continuation of that story. He shoots and kills his girlfriend in Bob George, and in Walkin’ In Glory, he wakes up in the morning and realizes the Lord took her off to Heaven. Like hey, maybe I just killed her, but at least now she’s, “walkin’ with the Lord.” An attempt at dark humor? Putting a bow on the dark tale of Bob George? "That's when stars collide.
