Deluxe Credits; Four written by Prince & Sheila E. As with the FABULOUS first solo album by Eric Leeds, it seems Sheila E. was also part of the crew that shaped the Madhouse albums; Four on the live set gets credited to writer duo Prince and Sheila Escovedo. No Eric credit, seems he was just playin' on it. >>

She is likely credited for the drum solo. There is no evidence Sheila was invovled with "Four". © Bart Van Hemelen

I admit, my 'knowledge' does not go beyond what PrinceVault's pages and Times Squared's lined notes tell me, but it's it was always a revelation to me to see some of Times Squared's recording sessions date back as far as 1987 recording sessions, one even back to '85. And as Madhouse was always supposed to be of mysterious origins, maybe some of her contributions got snowed under the moniker of mystery. >>

She'd like to think she had a hand in everything, but alas - no. Prince did the Madhouse stuff all himself. Eric is the one who deserves some credit on "Four" and whatever else he helped form with his sax work. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

. TS is based on old recordings. Its origins are well documented.
