That's terrible. Talk about sloppy handling.

Oh wow, return it. That's just horrible. Mine came in prety sturdy cardboard packaging from Amazion (I'm in Netherlands) without any damage.

The item was well-packed with a very big outer box with air bags and the custom cardbox box inside (with the peace sign), neither of which was damaged.
Just contacted Amazon and was given the option of return/refund, or discount. I took the discount ($56) only because I'm afraid a replacement will be the same due to the very long distance shipping (to Singapore). And the item is no longer available directly from Amazon, only via third party sellers most of whom do not ship to Singapore.
Oh well. Doesn't bother me TOO much, just that it lost a lot of value IF I ever decide to sell it. [Edited 10/9/20 0:50am]

Damn, that's funked up. My CD box was also damaged with scratched CDs and bent edges on the book. Smh

That’s really poor. I think you should’ve got a complete refund and been able to hold onto the damaged product. I’m in Australia and ordered directly from the estate, thankfully it was delivered undamaged. To be honest the packaging was exceptional. A box inside a box inside a box, with plenty of stuffing and bubble wrap.

very common damage from vinyl sleeves these days
mostly from these big companies cheaping out on the thickness of the cardboard, but they fail to realise everyone will demand a replacement, so it actually costs them WAY more - idiots!

My vinyl set arrived with similar damage to the cardboard tri-fold of the Live in Utrecht set, and LPs 11 and 13 arrived dished/warped!
Additionally LP 10's picture sleeve was stuffed into the gatefold too far and bent during factory assembly, and several of the paper sleeves arrived split. WTF?! For the money this is completely unacceptable!
I bought from importCDs via Amazon, and I've messaged them about it to see what next steps can be taken, but none of this appears to be damage sustained after manufacturing and assembly.
