Frightening is the word that comes to mind. Something about it is really off. The fact that someone put their watermark on it makes me think it's more than just some skin smoothing and light balance editing going on.

the smiling teeth one is DEFINITELY fake...Prince's teeth werent that perfectly shaped...at all

every day i'm thankful this place isn't filled with the facebook mom type prince fans who run entire accounts dedicated to posting pictures and complain that music is being released posthumously and have that weird, insanely creepy mega obsession in a really unhealthy way.

The gray hairs aren't very convincing.

I would say it was a definite fake. There are a lot of apps out there that now let you add smiles.

It looks like a bad photo-editing/enhancing job on a real picture of Prince.

Prince's nose is 'off' in the painting or enhancement.

I noticed a good number of photos that had that 'airbrushed' look to them. This one too has that feel about it
