Hey Jackie... Jackie is a Prince fan, at 1:29. Not sure if she stuck the 7" in the computer, but... Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Maybe he says Hucky. Now that's a story Hucky could share.

Ducky I've always thought it was Jackie. And always wondered who Jackie was

Never sounded like Jackie to me - I've always been sure it was ducky.
Ducky is heard in many old movies - especially British ones. Very old fashioned but living in London you still hear it sometimes. Also often you just hear "duck" instead as a pet name. I think of it as a Cockney thing.
I have no doubt Prince would've heard it in a movie or something like that. Since it's like a pet name it makes sense to me. I'm sure any British fan has never doubted the lyric... (but I am a Yank living here in the UK).

I've just listened closely and I might have to do U-turn... it does indeed sound like ducky! . I'm a Brit (Liverpool) so of course I've heard the term ducky but it never entered my head he would use it.

always was and always will be ducky. Paisley Park is in your heart - Love Is Here!

I always hear it at djucky (as in Djurdjevic?)
Although I assumed it was actually ducky, as in the English term of endearment.

I thought it was Jockey, as in Disc Jockey (DJ). Hence "the 7-inch"
