If you look at the system Prince was using at the beginning of Graffiti Bridge, is that the Apple system you are thinking of? That's less than 2 years later, I suppose.

so wierd that they would post an entire album in HQ free. We've come so far from the napster and RIAA enforcement days.

i'm going to take this time to mention how lame it is that, as far as i'm aware, lovesexy is still not tracked on streaming services. i don't care if it's supposed to be one long track, it's not 1988 anymore. no one's gonna listen to it all and no one's going to take the time to skip around trying to get to a track they wanna hear.

it's no doubt turning new fans off of his best album.

More and more albums are now officially uploaded on YT, it's considered a streaming service as well as Spotify or Deezer.

What I find weird is that they posted it as on the original CD, with all songs on a single track. And I see it's like that on all streaming platforms. It's a bit silly. Common sense would have been to post each track as a separate file. But I guess the intern just ripped a CD and didn't think twice (sigh).
