Yeah, this is obvious if you actually, you know, listen to the lyrics of the song.

'I promise myself not to cum until she does / And she took both hands and a liar I was' ...

Obviously, it's about his lover who knows exactly and precisely what to do to him to get him off, including telling him how much she loves him being inside her... and no matter what he does, he's helpless and cannot resist her.

No one said that. But why do people have to bust the man's balls so much on this site. Look at your last threads...crappy album covers and so-so music after the 80's, a silly line in a song, songs you thought were shitty from SOTT, the sequencing of SOTT being off, Emancipation being an album you would cut songs out of.

Don't get me wrong... a little constructive criticism is fine (Emancipation would be better cut down and with more organic production IMO)... but damn, I don't understand making 90 percent of the threads you start being criticism, especially since there ain't anything he can do about it now.

I avoided this site because of how negative it can be...but it is a valuable archive and there are bright people here, but man you guys need to be more thankful for Prince. I find it sad that all the negative stories are posted immediately on here (unless they are about the Revolution years) when positive stories were out there this month that no one bothered to post. I am not just picking on you...though. So sorry if I am coming off judgmental. But just don't take him for granted because he wasn't perfect.

we love him too Shannon, and there is plenty of fawning and idolatry for Prince from all of us to balance it out.. we praise his music, style, vision, talent and persona...but he was a human being...not above reproach, and just sometimes his life and antics are/were the source of much humor... surely, no meaningful disrespect intended

prince did a crap ton of songs... maybe too many? some are better than others... we may not agree on a raking or which are great or not so... but most of us love his music... I like this song a lot! I like that line... I would have thought its meaning was clear... "she is precise"

Really? Because I have been reading this site for years. There are days when the threads are 80 percent negative. Unless people are talking about the 1980's, but even then he is described as a sex-obsessed savant either cracking the Time's heads or being led by the hands of Wendy and Lisa.

I know for a fact from someone on the inside that he used to read this site and mostly what he read was negative and it did bug him. Calling him an asshole, saying he deserved to have his ass kicked, saying he had cocaine paranoia...don't sound like love to me. Pointing out when he is being a prick is natural but wouldn't it better to spend a bit more time on when he wasn't one and then try to understand where he might have been coming from when he was. This is a fansite not a site for Prince scholars and social critics. Leave that to the critics.

The comment section (except under certain videos obviously) on youtube is kinder to him than many of you guys are. I am not saying you don't love him. This is a public forum that new fans might read...and this site has turned off a lot of fans because people here are so weary about coming off like stans or psychophants that they instead come off disgrunted and like haters.

for one yeah this place can be a bit rough... and yeah prince (and his people) have had accounts... there is a Prince account and it was used a few times... Manuela had an account... as did others from PP. It is not a secret it... some of the accounts are not known and some were.

I think prince was an asshole sometimes. so what?

Prince knew some fans did not follow him all the way... I was about done with new stuff with Planer Earth. And he sang in "Don't Play Me" that his only competition was himself "in the past."

I feel you, Shannon. There are times when I'm actually glad that Prince can't read what has been written on here. I used to keep track of how many posts it would take before a negative one was posted on a new thread. Usually it would happen within the first three to four. Not a good way to show the love. Now I just skim through the threads and skip the ones that are negative. Who wants to waste time with that sh*t? There's too much hate in the world as it is and I don't want anymore in my life. Prince had his faults but I would like to focus on the positive things that he did while he was alive.
