This could be Princes next HIT right now... Probably not his best outtake...but it's radio friendly
and those layers of vocals that Prince is known for are at their best in this song... Definately a slammin' song...

I dig the song, but it would have to be seriously reworked. That type of song is for contemporary adults and would not work on mainstream radio which is now dominated by hip-hop. __________________________________________________

I love Open Book also... I feel the beauty of "I Wonder" is IN it's simplicity. It really does have a catchy hook. I had a friend over the other night, and he REALLY liked "I Wonder"...actually, he liked alot of the stuff i played that night...maybe it was a coming out party for him...lol. Poor guy, he was bombarded with Prince all night... Should've known better than to come to MY house...  Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. i wonder is an AMAZING song, and has a "simplistic" pop structure, but the emotion in his voice, and the production just blows me away.
i ADORE this song. of course, in a country where kelly clarkson's cd debuts at #1, i think we have to accept the fact that we can't handle talent when it comes to music - i guess maybe it intimidates a lot of people? i don't know. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

To many I wonders. Still good song, but P hasn't made any slammin hits in years now, so why should this b a new one...?
