Sign O' the Time German Documentary question

Question for anyone that owns this in the States- even though it's Region B can it be played with our Blu Ray- DVD players? If so how? And is it worth buying?

I'm in the states and the dvds played for me just fine. The blu-rays wouldn't.
It's definitely worth buying, in my opinion.
