Even though Prince always managed to do a decent

performances of The Beautiful Ones

over the course of his career ,most of the time he had

difficulties with the ending

screaming section with is understandable even Mariah and

Beyonce

couldnt do it justice.

Yet on some ocassions i did hear very impressive vocal workouts on the song

that were better than the studio version.

One was Rock Over Germany 1993 with he did great and he

was sick at the time.

New York 2011 was also nice but nothing comes even close

to how he sang the song

on Musicology warm up february 15 2004.

The notes he executed in the ending section are out of this world

and he burried studio version.

Those two shows in SF are on fire!

I was at that one, and yeah I remember it being a standout. Pass the Peas had fantastic guitar work & became an all out clinic.

Honestly after hearing the setlist for the show on the 14th I wish I had gone to that one. The version he did of Adore might be my favorite. .
