TGE! cool

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I was about to say Dirty Mind, but I'm gonna go For You.

I've dreamed of a For You deluxe for a while now. It's a wonderful, sweet little album and I bet there's a trove of his early career stuff we haven't heard yet on top of the great boots that are already out there.

the gold experience would be a good choice, plenty of good stuff that we know about already and quite a few tracks like Laurianne that we know almost nothing about

Lovesexy. Though from what I remember, the Black Album is kind of buried under contract issues. I think it would be imperative to include it with Lovesexy reissue and include unreleased songs from both eras on it.

I would love TGE, but the estate would need to sort out the Italian copyright issues with TMBGIW. You can’t not include the key track. I think Come should be included as well.

My vote is DIRTY MIND.

Prince's first un-argueable classic album.

The balls he had...to go from a SEE, I CAN WRITE POP HITS immediately to leapard bikini punk funk and songs about sisters and getting blowjobs...

Added bonus too... There is VERY LITTLE we know about the music he wrote and recorded in late in late 1979 - 1980... There might be a treasure trove of funk...

Well Parade first, it's been delayed enough times! But then Around The World In A Day, hopefully including Prince's versions of The Family tracks, and maybe A Love Bizarre too.

I'd buy them all but in terms of what would excite me definitely "Dirty Mind" and "Controversy" top the list. Also I'd look forward to "LoveSymbol" and "The Gold Experience" because that was the time I got into Prince in the first place. I'd also love "Come" deluxe but that won't happen in my lifetime lol

The Gold Experience would be a dream for me, with those live shows, and some brilliant music he made around that time. I think the Parade album superdeluxe wont be on the radar after alot of the Sign of the Times vault tracks seem to come from the same era.

Absolutely TGE with all related tracks and outtakes. I'd combine Come with that release.

There are loads of out-takes still remaining from the Parade area, and that's just the ones we know about.

Coupled with Come, including, of course, all the different versions of the title track, the different configurations of Exodus, a live show (Paris 1994 maybe?) and all the video films he made on dvd, this would be a great box set.
If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

Obviously I'm just mimicking what others have already said, but a '90s release for sure... Love Symbol, Come or TGE. I'm not obsessed enough with any of the other '80s albums to be that desperate for an expanded deluxe edition of any of them (I'd rather the focus be on reissuing albums that are hard and expensive to get in *any* track listing on vinyl), but I can understand why others (especially those who have been fans for decades, unlike me) would feel differently.

Controversy is probably my favourite Prince album so I'll say that.

But in truth, I'd much rather them release more recent outtakes, possibly a HitnRun Phase 3 or whatever he was working on before he died, and maybe give these Deluxe Editions a rest for a while.

Just to hear an official copy of The Second Coming would be worth the cost, and a dream come true.

I’d love to hear the most recent stuff as well. Once these special editions are released, the only way to really hear the stuff that we want is a vault subscription. I hope it happens.

Tough question. Right now the material I would be most grateful to hear (from the choices listed) would be…

* Out-takes recorded between SOTT and Lovesexy
* Songs that were intended for Rave ‘89
* Song recorded for Anna Fantastic
* The Grand Progression

As such I think ‘Lovesexy’, ‘Batman’ and ‘Graffiti Bridge’ will all have something to offer me.

That being said, given the choice of any of Prince’s albums I still would choose ‘SOTT’ first, followed by ‘Parade’. As such I’m extremely glad that these are the next intended releases.
