Found this little bit of info but I assumed you have already seen this.This is credited to the Princevault website
The Secret Text is an unreleased track recorded at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. It was included as the sixth and final track on a CD found at Paisley Park Studios following Prince's death, labeled "Live Band Trax". The other tracks (Ain't Gonna Miss U When U're Gone, Screwdriver, When She Comes, Shade Of Umber, and Boyfriend) mostly stem from 2012 or early 2013, suggesting that this track may have been recorded at the same time. It is not known if the version included on the CD was a live in-studio take with the then-nascent 3rdEyeGirl line-up, or a full studio recording for the band members to learn. When I had the chance to meet him for 5 minutes 10 years ago I did notice that close up some of his clothing elements were not finished to the finest of detail which made me smile after having a life long career in stage theatre. Costumes are usually not seen from this vantage. I could see a lot of basting stitches. I found it all charming.
