Secondly (and this is my OCD), when you see the picture from behind, its clear the square of the plinth doesn't line up with the square of the ground cut! Was Stevie Wonder the angle grinder??

No problem with Statue in Henderson. Some of us dig Both! biggrin razz lol

I'm still trying to get to PP. I like both statues. Keep in mind that over in Henderson they may have not had the right to use the symbol for a statue. Sometimes it's good to be creative and come up with your own thing.

The Love Symbol (#2) will always be one of the greatest, if not but the most iconic inventions/idea/whatever of the last century but it will be there for The Future... It will always be Prince at the end of time (Adore).... Genius!

The statue provides a great place for people to take photos in front of PP. Before the statue, PP may not have been instantly recognizeable to the general public. But now with the statue there, PP + prince becomes instantly recognizeable.

Great observation.
There were comments from some locals after P's death, saying things like "I didn't know what that building was until now". Good privacy for P while opening to knowing fam.

As for the Henderson statue: folks forget that the symbol is trademarked. Yes, it's bootlegged on Chinese t-shirts and the like but a big symbol in Henderson would have been estate-stomped.
