Question about the Xs face has anyone else noticed when lsitening to this song that is sounds like Prince has a lisp or is sluring his words when he sings "The Xs Face"? It has almost made the song unlistenable for me now, and since I noticed it i can hear it in other songs on the album. If I am not imagining it, do you think it is a production thing or do you think it is from being on opioids during the recording? | |

moderatorI’ve heard that style of production in the studio myself, and this album had a new, modern-style of production, so without listening out for it I’d confidently expect this to be from the production.

There is no lisp. I thought this was a joke (or bait) post to begin with. I personally love the track. It was one of his best vocal performances in ages. The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens. |
