Prince tends to collaborate with "lesser" artists, so this is a difficult question to answer. On the rare occasion that he does work with someone substantial (Ani, Kate Bush, etc.), it seems like he sabotages the collaboration by hacking the recording to bits or burying them way way WAY down in the mix. Best he stay all alone in his little paisley hidey hole, where he can make his one-man-band music. | |
