More than happy for them to slot newer material in the Originals/Piano & Microphone slot, but something from the 21st century taking the place of a SDE from the golden era would be a travesty.

.

No, we can see (at least) three trajectories:

- SDE classic albums

- Originals

- Unreleased albums (from Black is the New Black to various older projects)

.

Yes, there might be some overlap but the concept is attractive I guess.

I hope after SOTT SD is a 2nd Originals set with a strong focus on songs he wrote in the mid/late 80's for other artists - "Cool Love", "Sex Of It", "Come Home", "Allegiance", "Shall We Dance" etc. After that the "Parade" SD, which would be my Holy Grail (although can't wait for SOTT!) and then later next year "BISNB". This would be my dream release schedule lol

they could go into the hours and hours of mid 90s unreleased stuff. I’m getting tired of old material, not that 90s isn’t old, but when I think his old stuff I think 80s.

Above all else I want 90s stuff, particularly live shows, but I've come to terms with the fact that it'll probably be a while before that starts to happen.

There is a built in audience for the WB original releases which is why we get the deluxe versions.

Although, instead of an "originals" album, I would prefer one of the complete albums that are in the vault from the 80's or early 90's to be released.

I would love to hear more D&P, prince, Come, Gold era stuff. Not really sure if I'm interested too much in the late 90s . . . probably my least favorite timeframe.
