This raises another question; Prince claimed to have re-recorded a big chunk of his back catalogue in the late 90s. Hans Buff (his regular engineer at the time) has cast doubt on those claims, but we know that he did re-record some of it, because those versions are circulating. Is there a broad appetite for hearing these later reworkings? If so, should they be released with the original versions or as their own thing? I would certainly be happy to hear them | |
