Does anyone know the style of ray-ban sunglasses Prince wore during the Parade era?

I think they're the Wayfarrer classics or Justin Classic

I think it may also be possible he used the womens version since the have more or a cat eye on the corner more like the Wayfarrer II Classic.

Which one? can you share a photo or something? Even he used to keep consistent style on sunglasses, the thing is prince has been using many different model of glasses, and is difficult to know which one are you referring to.

Somebody asked this once before. I think they were called Wayfarer 2 at the time. The lenses were slightly bigger than the classic Wayfayers. My boyfriend bought a pair when they first came out.

It was 40ish years ago, branding was not all the rage like today. Just because it didn't come up in a specific google, really? If you want more, you need to post a photo of which glasses you are talking about, like someone said already. We can guess all day.

Search Wafarrer or Wayfarrer II.

Look on the Ray Ban site.

Then look for Prince circa Parade or Holly Rock when he had the short hair and trench or crop tops.

I remember there being customised "in house" versions of these with the Paisley Park logo on them

Come to think of it, I believe he wore several styles during that period and in Under the Cherry Moon.

Yep, exactly that was my point, just doing a easy search on images for Prince, you see he wear different model of sunglasses. So, that I was the reason I was suggesting to put some photo to know exactly to which one rap was referring to.

There's a chance he got them from Wally.

I don't see updates here from somedays, I just try to find them more than for a brand, for the style, I would say it was like vintage sunglasses, but cannot tell exactly the brand because I think he was just wearing different types (as I mentioned above)

I can't confirm what was used for these non-tour shots, but for the tour, they were copies of wayfarer 2's.

I have a real pair from Rayban and I had the glasses thrown out by Wendy and Prince on the tour. They were cheap copies, but they were the deep lens versions, which were weyferer 2's not wayfarer 1's.

Prince is wearing the tortoise shell version in the gifs on this threat, but on the tour, the copies were plain black.
