I was scrolling through youtube and heard for the first time a live rehearsal of Something In The Water from 1982. It then dawned upon me that I have never heard that song live from the 1982. The earliest is from the purple rain rehearsals in 83 and then the birthday rehearsal and subsequent show.

Has anyone heard a live version of Water from 1982? Does it even exist?

That doesn't really help, does it, Bert? The person asked, "Has anyone heard a live version of Water from 1982?" We know it exists because it's on some rehearsal boots, but clearly the person is asking for first person knowledge - were they at a show in 1982 and heard it. That's the goal.

That's a slightly different question.

The first mention on princevault shows it as piano set item, but this date shows a non-piano version.
