Baltimore was a turd and Purple and Gold (what i assume would be P's blueprint for an 'epic' protest song) was beyond shame.

Baltimore never did much for me, it felt restrained and lacking the layers and emotions I wanted from him.... but it sounds a lot more right today.

maybe , 20 years ago. His songs last few years arnt quite as good as they was. Unless there is something on Black is the New Black. Wish they would release this album

yes black muse is good, Family Name , another. I don't mean I don't think he still couldn't write a great song. I mean on a more consistent basis than he did up to around 95/96. Just my own opinion. I have enjoyed all of Princes albums/music. Hes my favorite Music artist by a country mile!

During his storied career Prince had lots of protest songs. This playlist included close to two and half hours of these. The playlist begins with Mavis Staples singing a Prince written You will Be Moved which was included on her The Voice album which was released under Prince's Paisley Park Records and also on Prince's 1-800-New-Funk compilation album which at the time had largely unreleased music from Prince and related Paisley Park artists. This and the other tracks in this playlist including New Power Generation, Dreamer, Dear Mr Man, Colonized Mind, Right the Wrong, 2gether, Race, Dance On, America, Slave, Sign O' the Times, The Future, When Will We b Paid?, Count the Days, Emancipation, Free, Baltimore, Chaos and Disorders, We March and others form a great playlist to help support and bring light to and understanding of the issues that surround the Black Lives Matter protests around the world. Have listen and read the lyrics to see how almost prophetic Prince may have been.

Wish The Estate would make a formal version of this playlist and release it on all platforms and consider selling downloads of it too.

I actually don't think so, at least not an epic protest song.
