As these are relative recent recordings, are there any differences with the original CD sound quality wise? The HQ-er formerly known as krokostimpy.

I'm falling in love with this album, even more so than the first time it was released. I saw the show in DC so this tour holds a special place in my heart. . The vinyl really does sound amazing. I am curious though, if anyone else's copy - specifically on Avalanche, has any sound issues. Toward the end of the song, there is a steady scuff/static sound - despite the vinyl being brand new & cleaned - I've tested it on both my turntables and have the same issue. The rest of the records are fine. . I am wondering if its a manufacturing flaw on my copy only of if they are all that way. If a few people could check and let me know, I would be interested to hear reports. Thanks.

Yes I noticed surface noise end of Side E and right through all of Side F - such a shame as an amazing pressing otherwise. Guess I will have to return and hope the replacement is better. will be interested to hear how others people's copies are before I do though. QUESTION: So i guess they had to add fade ins and fade outs at the beginning and end of each side, right? A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

In France records are made in "Europe", silly for not daring to put the Eastern European country...(cost reduction). What about the US? Don't know about the quality as I collect Japanese CD's "Money won't buy U happiness but it'll pay 4 the search."

Just bought this in the shop last week and loving it. The sounds does seem fuller and warmer than the CD version. Having the concert split in so many discs does have the advantage you listen more actively. A nice choice for re-release for sure. The HQ-er formerly known as krokostimpy.
