Steve Martin was the host that night. By 2006, Baldwin and Basinger had been divorced for four years.

Still,that doesn't mean all was forgiven.But thing is,prince and alec baldwin were right beside eachother,so if there was bad blood I am sure they wouldn't have been so close.

Yes, Steve M. was the host, and Alec was there to do a bit part - it might have been the "5 time host" robe skit or something. He and Kim had been divorced since 2002, but I would bet Alec wasn't a fan of Prince. She started seeing him right after her affair with Prince. I think he's a hard act to follow. smile
