Hannah and Josh finally talk about Prince

Hannah (3rd eye girl drummer) and her husband Josh have a great ministry online, and on facebook. I was surprised that last nights episode (4-21) was them sharing their memories of working with Prince, whom they clearly loved and respected and visa versa.

It was great to hear their story of meeting and working for Prince, etc.

My main take aways were that Prince was looking forward to their daughter's birth and wanted to be in her life, and that he was pulling back from the Jehovah faith.

I'd love to hear other's impressions.

Thanks for sharing. I have a feeling though that Prince wasn't saying yo and dude very often.

They're disarming.

Helps to see why Prince embraced them.

Like Larry, they're joking about his height. You would think the novelty would wear off with that after years of spending time with him. Calling Prince "low energy" misses the mark too.

They still sound enamored with his celebrity, and wealth, like fans though. The questions about them not noticing his health are just amplified given their personalities.

It's awful to say, maybe it's just the set with the couch, but this also gave me Chaturbate vibes. Like, if a tape surfaced of them one day from when they needed cash, I wouldn't be shocked.

Hesitant to say anything because I hope they celebrate him and their time with him more.

Very unprofessional for Hannah to reveal the salary Prince was paying her...I wonder if Josh was getting paid also.If he was paying all his musicians $5000 a week ...WOW

Yeah I didn't like that at all. But I don't think she was part of 3EG yet when he was paying her that.

Leeds has said he got paid generously, but it was less while touring, and how he thought it should be the other way around. On tour it was less salary and a small per diem, where off tour, he basically owned them and they were working or on call the whole time.

There's also the Questlove story when Prince tipped him $50 for looking sharp, and got the cash from someone in the band (I want to say it was Ida) and they were upset because they needed the money to eat.

I think some of the NPG have talked dollar amounts, and it wasn't $5k high, but...inflation and less people to pay.

Hmmm. I guess I’m happy to learn more about Prince...

But those two give me 14 year old / middle school vibes.

I expect that they will be selling a book soon.

Maybe call it ‘my friend the awesome rockstar’

Or something like that.

I can see where they learned from P and he learned from them. A couple things I found interesting: 1) they believe P to be a prophet. Not sure how I feel about that. And 2) P would mention to Josh that he wouldn't always be around... which just is so unlike the younger Prince who said time is a trick and it kind of made me sad. I think they are an adorable couple and I hope they do well.

The Obama jacket was cool, but we need to hear more stories and insight into that historic concert experience...maybe the Documentary.

Of course, it was Prince's decision who he was friends with and who he worked with, but these 2 never interested me at all.

I wonder if their childishness is what attracted Prince to them in the first place...

To be honest, I don't know much about them or why Prince hooked up with them. I have never paid much attention to either of them. I'm not a fan of organized religion and definitely not a fan of televangelists, so I've never bothered with them other than the fact that she played with Prince for a while. What they do next really has no interest for me.

I appreciate the stories and the openness. It’s a treasure and a gift.

Hannah and Josh are obviously very nice people and prince clearly loved them.

It’s really none of my business but I’m gonna say it anyway : I just hope Hannah has a voice in their relationship. Sometimes Christians have a odd idea of what being a good wife is. Josh need to sit down sometime and let her talk.

Either way, they are obviously crazy about each other and that’s nice.

Really? Please, tell me, what odd idea is it that Christians have about being a good wife? As a Christian, I'd really like to know what odd idea that is, just to compare and see if I am one of the Christians whom has this trait.

Hannah always seemed like a good egg and a hell of a drummer. The super Christian stuff is bit off-putting but thats more about the state of current psycho American "Evangelical/Trump loving" cult than her.

What about her makes her seem like she doesn't speak her mind?

Whatever you're seeing has nothing to do with religion, he just comes off kind of like a seize the moment, who needs to have attention and like she mistakes that for a solid man who can keep up with her or isn't intimidated, instead of a red flag. He basically followed her and used her for an opportunity. Or Prince really clicked with him, and there's nothing nefarious to it. They're a little much though, so it's hard not to have a reaction. The prophecy stuff was more worrisome.
