Man... so many missed opportunities.
Hope this all sees the light of day and the Estate realizes how this would be a consistent source of revenue and fan engagement. I Love U, But I Don't Trust U Anymore...

i don't think i've ever seen a more mind boggling example of "failing to capatalize on easy money" than the estate with the literal thousands of recordings they have, live or otherwise, that they know they'll never get around to releasing most of. i just don't get it.

. Yet another fan blaming the estate for failing to do in four years what Prince didn't do for decades. .

I agree, it's a shame that the estate keeps holding back all the live stuff. Welcome 2 The Dawn

. Anecdotes ain't data. Prince never had any serious longlasting project. NPGMC changed significantly after one year, and that was perhaps the longest lasting. The rest of his online ventures were amateurish at best. .
. The estate is bound by litigation, and every second of unreleased music post-WBR seems to me to be in a state where they still haven't been able to draw up a contract with any entity. © Bart Van Hemelen

Correct. NPGMC, and Funkenberry downloads, and making remixes/pre-realeases available through Amazon (like Funknroll) wasn't anecdotal.
