THE MOVE

.

“Find me a house.”

.

“Uh, what?”

.

“I want to move to L.A. for awhile. Find me a house.”

.

“To buy?”

.

“Rent.”

.

“But what kind of house do you like?”

.

“You choose. You know what I like. Make sure it’s big enough to throw parties in.”

.

Click the link for the full (and very long) story.

.

And if you're wondering who she is: https://www.google.com/se...ate+Prince .

Very long, yes, but VERY worth the read. What I would give to witness this laughing/crying/cackling scene.

"I look up to see Prince lying on the stairs on an apparent attempt to walk down them, he gave up and slowly slid halfway holding on to the railing. His nasal high pitched laugh interjected and rose between my funeral wails and Odis’ incoherent cachinnate. We roared for over twenty minutes. Noses running, Prince’s shoe lost on the landing, eyes wet from crying. “Ahhhhh-haaaah-haaaaaah!” Prince is slapping his knee with one hand while stomping his shoeless foot on the stair."

Y'all have to listen to Quest's Pandora "Purple Roundtable" show. Ruth told many of these stories during that interview. Her 2007 Superbowl story, and her "picking Prince up in my crappy car" story are also very good!!

Damn, he liked them sassy.

If publishers aren't throwing money at this potential book, they should just retire.

Alternatively, a collection of stories from former assistants and associates, that take this same tone would be gold.

She definitely is spunky with a bit of a 'tude! She's quite attractive too though, which I'm sure is why she got away with the sass talk with Prince smile

I'd love to see a book from her. She's a good storyteller.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

Prince would have drove me crazy, I don't think I would have wanted to work for him for all the money in the world.

By all accounts, working for, and being in a relationship with him was exhausting and stressful, but ultimately rewarding.
