Thanks for sharing. I have a feeling though that Prince wasn't saying yo and dude very often.

you've never had conversations with Prince, so you have no clue what he would or wouldnt say

I don't need to have had a personal conversation with him to know words that he wouldn't use.

thats total bullshit and you know it...Prince has said "yo" on sevaral occasions....he might not say it on "PurpleRain" or "Little Red Corvette", but as a black man it was part of his vernacular...

for example, in the song "My Medallion"

" Holdin' on the banister, sliding down slow
U know he about 2 fall down all them stairs YO..."

~ P.R.Nelson

And from "Silicon"

"So my words makes mo' dollars than sense on ur hellavision or ur radio
With this flow it just grows..YO, ask Chuck D., he know.."

~ P.R.Nelson

and thats 2 examples off rhe top...theres more.

he even wrote and produced a SONG named "YO MISTER" for Patti LaBelle in 1989.

so nah.. Prince would NEVER speak soooo horribly, and use the word YO...

LOL...u know nothing about Prince, apparently

Wasn't that the guy that did the PR rem^H^H^Hdisaster?

I must be dumb, but what is the PR disaster? Clue me in!

.

The Paisley Park remaster of PR, overseen by Prince, was done by one of his minions, not a well known mastering engineer.

The result is a compressed mess.

Compare the results to e.g. the 1999 remaster.

If you do not hear it then that indicates a problem outside of the remaster.

Going out on a limb here: say what you want about this couple but I enjoyed their video and it brings me peace. I am a believer also and have experienced prophecy as well. This stuff is real and it brings me comfort knowing they shared their testimonies with P. I believe Prince is in Heaven and one day will see him again.

oh, I thought you meant PR disaster, as in Public Relations. Yeah, the remaster sucked.

me too. whether one likes their style or not, I was happy to learn about his mindset in his last years, him believing in God again, etc.

I don't think they meant "prophet" as in Nostradamus per say, more that he was very in-tuned and spiritually enlightened which I would 100% agree with.

They mention receiving prophecies a number of times in relation to predicting future events in their lives, including the house he bought them, so it's clear they do think prophets can communite with the lord or have visions of what will happen to people or what their calling is to do.

...freedom of restricted joy.

Always him agian; 'Lord.'

Why not a woman ? Or a sarcastic transexual sqirrel with good intenstions ?

I preferably stay clear of restrictions as dictated by

worshipped non existances full of life choking rules.

Why did 'Lord' created this mess we're in ?

Why did he invented horrible slow cancer for children ?

Or just poverty and Alzheimer ?

-

Would be funny to hear what Prince's would've sayd/done in Covid times.

Can't help but think of how he lost it.

He so lost it (tbh, imho).

But... was about to come back to life,

slightly moving away from these yes-saying little creeps

he surrounded himself with.

His book was such a good start, & the solo tour...

the piano and the stories...

He was on his way to be at ease, sane. Reflective.

But that famous pill too much.

no 'lord' or religion that was able to help.

-

Anyways... back to the... who again ? Ah yes...

Hanna & Josh,

Like,

Tony M, TC Ellis, Carmen Elektra,

and a couple of other purple slips.

What did they say ? Nevermind.

Next please.

Very unprofessional for Hannah to reveal the salary Prince was paying her...I wonder if Josh was getting paid also.If he was paying all his musicians $5000 a week ...WOW

Many of the associates from the 80's have revealed what they were paid to be in Prince's band. It wasn't much considering the money that was rolling in from Purple Rain. They were also fined anywhere from $200-$500 for any mistakes during live shows. BrowmMark stated at one point he just started to "rumble" on the bass when he forgot the notes or didn't see Prince's cue on stage. That's how the rumble thing got started, and Prince loved it. You can hear him telling Levi to "rumble Jr!" in some of the live SOTT and LoveSexy aftershows smile

im not a Christian at all...but if they are zealous or even overzealous in their love for their Lord, why does that in ANY way bother people to the point of disrespect and name calling?...what they eat, doesnt make you shit...what emotion is it that makes a person feel disdain or contempt for another person's joy..🤔

They don't keep it to themselves. If they spit it into my face, it makes me sick.

I didn't mean any disrespect with my comment, I'm happy for them that they seem to have found comfort and joy in their religion, truly I am.

I just always found the concept of organized religion offputting and scary, tbh...but like I said, if it works for you: Cool!

Anyway, they both seem to be nice, down to earth people...I guess P was comfortable having them around, so thats all that matters.

huh?...they didnt knock on your door preaching and passing out pamphlets...they didnt call your house...they didnt stop you in the street to testify...YOU willingly clicked on THEIR link... how can that in ANY way be construed as "spitting it in your face?...if their zeal in their religion makes you sick, you most likely had some kind of pre-existing condition (mental, spiritual or emotional) that caused you to feel sick... you feel me?

I think there's some confusion. We all clicked on links to their ministry, because they happened to be talking about Prince. You wouldn't click on a link to Larry Graham's bible study, then getting upset at him for it.

And why should they keep it to themselves? They don't spit anything in your face, because you do not have to read anything they say or post, nor watch them if they video it....that's your choice to do so, and if it "makes you sick" then perhaps you shouldn't read or watch anything from them! Apparently there's something going on with you, that maybe you need to deal with, if these people lives bother you so much, people I assume that you don't even know, and whom don't know you!

My guess would be something going on their own lives that they're dealing with, or not dealing with, that brings out disdain, contempt, hate, misery, anger, etc.

You must have lost a big chunk of time listening to and watching Prince then, because most of what he sang and talked about from 1998 through 2010 was his religion confused
