Well in all sincerity, I don't mind the bitchy gossip. I'm a person with a life, so much so that I'm not active on social media & haven't visited this site in years before a couple weeks ago. But due to an abundance of downtime with this quarantine, I enjoy mindless celebrity fluff as a respite from the legitimate chaos and confusion overtaking this world right now. Everyone has their reasons for being interested or disinterested, and for many, interest simply means they get a break from the death or destruction that's taking place around them in real time and it gives them some time to lighten up from all the hours they spend on their knees in prayer for what's really impacting the world.

I think ultimately, whatever is happening with Sheila, Appolonia, or any other celebrity has so little impact on people's real lives that it's nonthing to get upset about. Prince is resting comfortably away from all of us, the women included, and the ladies' lives will go on... and a lot of us are simply choosing to treat them with the seriousness which we think they, and the whole "squabbling exes" narrative deserves. That's all. I won't judge people for how they choose to lighten up and bring levity to their lives during a time like this unless it's a threat to public health.
