Prince on Youtube 2014?

Have noticed that the dates for some Prince Youtube stuff (eg. Let's go crazy/ 1999 album) now read 2014. Now, we all know this didn't happen, so why is this?

God knows why I did the research to work this out:

The Prince channel was originally auto-generated by youtube and automatically connected Prince albums/vidoes uploaded by youtube users. It was converted into the official youtube channel at some point after his death. Previously blocked videos were unblocked.

Thanks. However, I think the dates have changed recently (so that the date of Let(s go crazy used to be about 2017.)

I'm seeing 7th July 2017 for the Let's Go Crazy video (I suppose it might vary slightly based on timezone), November 2014 for the non-remastered audio, which would make sense since it's the same week as the 1999 audio - probably the week they turned on whatever this automatic youtube tool is.

I appreciate that the Youtube algorithms (the AS, rather than AI) is at work. But my point is that the dates have changed since they were first put up. That's out of order, wouldn't you say?

I disagree that the dates have changed. Let's Go Crazy video is dated 2017, Let's Go Crazy audio is dated 2014. As per my explanation above that makes sense. I see no evidence that Let's Go Crazy was uploaded at a different date unless you mean the 7" edit off Prince 4ever that was uploaded in 2018 or Let's Go Crazy special dance mix also uploaded 2018.

Thanks. I can see clearly where we differ. I am convinced that the dates for the likes of Let's go crazy audio, until recently, were different. I have no evidence for this apart from my own memory, so unless others notice it too, then it is possible I am mistaken.
